Alfredo Castillo, Dominican artist, was born in the
Maria Trinidad Sanchez province on march 23rd , 1966. He studied in his
village and in 1982 we moved to Santo Domingo to start his Arts studies at
the National Art School.
He defines his style as modernist
surrealist and he was the first painter arriving to Las
Terrenas.
In what he calls “METAMORPHIS” he expresses his
dremas, ideas and thoughts thru canvas paintings that make his life
colourful and joyful.
His work can be seen in different
hotels and restaurants in Las Terrenas; Ocean Reef, La Yuca Caliente, Cueva
Taina, Kari Beach, among other.
